Meeting Thursday April 4th at 7PM
Ernie's Seafood
8206 Bedford Euless Rd. NRH, TX 76180
Mary Wallace Funk ("Wally") was to
have been our April presenter.
Due to unforeseen circumstances,
it was unfortunately necessary
to cancel her presentation.
April 4th, 2023 Meeting at 7PM with
Dennis A. Tuck, Cdr. USNR (Ret.)
presenting (via a 2005 LSAC video)
“From Piper to Concorde.”
The proximity of the cancellation to our regular meeting date left insufficient time to obtain a replacement speaker, so the decision was made to fill the void with a replay of the recorded meeting from September 1, 2005.
Prepare yourself to enjoy a repeat of Dennis A. Tuck, Cdr. USNR (Ret.) recapping a 52-year career in civilian and military aviation in a presentation titled, “From Piper to Concorde.”
A live meeting will still be held at Ernie’s Seafood, with all the good eatin’ and camaraderie which that entails.
Or if you prefer, you can sit it out at home and watch on Zoom while ingesting your usual dinner or snacking on pretzels, chips, and beer.
Or whatever.
FYI, there is an air show at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) in Fort Worth on 13-14 April. The show will feature, among many other things, the Blue Angels. You can only access the show by registering for a free pass or purchasing a VIP ticket. Both are available online, along with additional details about on-base and overflow parking arrangements, plus other sundry information, at the official Web site, www.wingsovercowtown.com.
